The Hihi Class have been thoroughly enjoying dipping their wings into the pool at the Stanmore Bay Leisure Centre.
Monday to Thursday our Hihi class have been seen frolicking in the water performing dives, ‘arm circle’ swimming, bubble blowing and expert kicking!
It has been wonderful watching the confidence in our class grow each session and it has been heart-warming hearing each child proudly share the new swimming technique that they tried or even mastered!
Water confidence is an essential part of our learning, especially given the gorgeous coastal environment we are so lucky to live near.

Summer is coming and I am sure that we will see many Hihi at the Hibiscus Coast beaches this year!
