2018 FLEMING HOUSE REPORT (1st Place)

House Leaders: Anya Khalid & Khun Wattanasuwan

Fleming did extremely well in 2018, with participation and determination being important contributors to our excellent results. Two highlights of the year were winning the inter-House shields for both the Athletics Day and the Cross Country. Our success in these events was totally thanks to the involvement of the students.

We’re really proud of Fleming House and the successes we have achieved together.

2017 FLEMING HOUSE REPORT (3rd Place)

House Leaders: Keagan Modlin & Kieran Pangalila

Being Fleming House leaders this year taught us a lot of leadership and organisational skills. Organising inter-House teams proved to be one of the most challenging aspects of our role. Getting Fleming House students involved and motivated took a lot of face-to-face interactions with our peers, as did ensuring they turned up for House events.

Winning the Cross Country Shield early in the year was a huge boost to morale, and we were so proud of our students for really getting involved and being so supportive of each other.

Another highlight of the year was organising the House fundraising event in Term 3. The Hibiscus Coast Community House was overjoyed with our donations, as this winter season had been their most pressing season yet. They faced empty shelves but thankfully Wentworth’s students were able to help to fill them.
