Year 7 Camp

At Wentworth College we believe school camps are a wonderful opportunity for growth and a tremendously important aspect of each child’s school experience.

Our Year 7 Students enjoy a week at Moirs Point Christian Camp at Mangawhai Heads.   Moirs Point provides beautiful accommodation on a stunning coastal headland with idylic harbour views and access to the water’s edge.  Activities include coastal walks, water activities, caving, rock climbing, abseiling, archery and shooting.

The focus of the camp is to build relationships through shared experiences. The activities are designed to teach our students to have the courage to try something new, and to have confidence and a belief in their own abilities. Most of all, our camps are an opportunity to have fun.
